Jorge Tacla
Born in Santiago, Chile: 1958. Moved to New York City: 1981. Attended Escuela de Bellas Artes and Universidad de Chile from 1976-1979. He won several awards including: Grant “Corporación Amigos del Arte” Santiago, Chile; AT & T Foundation; New York Foundation for the Arts; John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellowship; New York Foundation for the Arts, and Eco Art Award, Brazil. He has shown his work in galleries and museums all over the world.
