Authors of the Informance, Noordung:: DZ/15, research postgravitational art and theatrical abstraction in a ZERO G environment in the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Center/Star city/Russia. On December 15th, 1999, they realised “Noordung Biomechanical", the first complete theatrical
presentation performed in conditions of zero gravity! Their research revolves around the 50 year theater play, Fifty-Year Projectile “Noordung”, which premiered in 1995 in Ljubljana, and has a single repetition only once per decade and will continue to have a single repetition on the same
date as the premiere until 2045 with installation of 16 artistic satellites into the equatorial orbit. The first repetition was performed exactly 10 years after the premiere, on April 20th, 2005, in the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Center on an exact replica of the International Space Station ISS in a Hydrolab. In 2045, when this biomechatronic process comes to an end, Zivadinov will install 16 substitutes for the bodies of 16 dead actors into the equatorial orbit. Each dead actor from the play will be substituted by an Umbot-a thinking work of art, an artistic satellite.

The first Umbot for testing purposes was built in 2002.
The second repetition of the play will be on April 20th in 2015 at an undisclosed location.
