Bacher’s multi-channel video installation transformed WHITE BOX into a private sphere by using video to domesticate a space that is traditionally public.  Drawing on the artist’s recent series of apartment screenings in New York and San Francisco, the voyeuristic installation highlighted the piece’s Greek Oedipal theme while also positing alternative exhibition space as a timely response to Six Feet Under’s thematic concern with gallery real estate.
